David Kyasanku, the town clerk Jinja Municipality says they directed health club operators to hire professionals with skills on public but only the major hotels have responded positively.
With effect from 16th January 2014, the end user tariff will be 520.4 shillings for domestic consumers instead of 524.5, 474.4 shillings for commercial consumers instead of 487.6, 452 shillings for medium industrial users instead of 458.9 and 310.4 shillings for large industrial consumers instead of 312.8.
Buliisa Resident District Commissioner-RDC Florence Beyunga says the ban followed a realization that those staging discos compromised security. Beyunga who doubles as the chairperson district security committee says the disco operators in the district often lack security gadgets to check persons that enter disco halls.
