Parliament has today in an unprecedented manner passed the coming financial year 2019/2020 budget totaling 40.48 trillion Shillings without debate on the budget committee report. The report was presented on Thursday afternoon by the committee Chairperson Amos Lugoloobi.
The decision presented by the Finance Committee Chairperson Imalingat Gaudence also moves to impose taxes on 15 other untaxed enterprises in Katabi as a way of widening the revenue base.
