In a statement, MTN Uganda said “This brings to an end the long-standing negotiations between MTN Uganda, the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) and the government. This license renewal comes almost 2 years later, since MTN Uganda applied for a license renewal following the expiry of their 20 year license in October 2018”.

Oil Roads Boosting Roadside Markets in Bunyoro critical oil roads 1 4

The key roads under construction include Masindi-Kigumba-Hoima-Kabwoya (135 Km), Kyenjojo-Hoima-Masindi-Kigumba (238 Km) and Hoima-Wanseko (111 Km). The other is the 92km Hoima- Kaiso-Tonya road that was completed in 2014, as part of several infrastructural developments projects undertaken in the Albertine Region in preparation for oil production.
