Raymond Mulindwa, a dealer in Christmas decorations said quick bookings from churches, banks, non- government organizations- NGO’s and getting various customers that used to happen in the past years is not the same case this time round. He said bar owners were one of his big customers in buying lights and yet currently they are not authorized to operate.
The Zonal Manager, Micro Finance Support Center in Soroti, Simon Peter Egiriat says that said that each SACCO will each receive 30 million shillings while the elected SACCO leaders will get 50 million to boost their livelihoods as directed by the President’s Office.
