The fishmongers are also protesting the decision by Ugandan government authorities to impound goods in transit. They want relevant Uganda and Kenyan authorities to address the challenges they are facing to facilitate smooth trade between the two countries.
Arua City received 234.8 Million Shillings from the Ministry of Finance to support the fight against Covid-19. According to the guidelines, VHTs were supposed to receive 150,000 while LCI Chairpersons 100,000 Shillings on behalf of the village Covid19 Taskforces.
