The road gangs are charged with ensuring sanitation and hygiene within the city streets through sweeping, collecting garbage and waste, slashing, grooming among others. Each of them is paid 170,000 Shillings per month.
130 solar street lights have broken down for close to two years and have not been repaired posing fears among road users, especially during night hours.
