Nkojo died in November 2020 in Virginia, USA after being ill. Family members immediately started arranging for the return of the body back home to its resting place in Mirongo Village, Hakibale Sub County in Kabarole district, in vain.
They say this is not only affecting the environment and soil fertility but making it harder especially for rain-fed agriculture which Uganda relies on. This came out as Sasakawa Africa Association (SAA), a farmer promotion NGO, discussed their new 5-year strategic plan 2021-2025.
