Two-year-old Nelson Caniwat was reportedly playing with other children in Zone 4 block 8 on Monday afternoon when he slipped and fell in the pit filled with rain water.
In a heated meeting held on Monday in the school main hall, some of the aggrieved senior four and six candidate together with their parents blamed the strike on the poor leadership of the school head teacher, Michael Ocan. For instance, some of the students said they didn’t have Pre-Mock examination to prepare them for mock examinations.
According to Kidega, the contractor was expected to use concrete blocks made from stone dust but he instead used blocks produced on the site using local sand, murrum soil and cement.
