During the meeting, the party members accused Kiyingi of supporting Immaculate Nabawanuka and Adam Bazibumbira, the independent candidates for Bukomansimbi Woman and Bukomansimbi North parliamentary seats respectively.
In his statement, Kiyingi says the utterances by his rival are defamatory and meant to destroy his reputation before right thinking members of society.
Drama ensued when Justine Lumumba Kalule, the NRM Secretary General presented Shillings 3 million as condolences from the party to the chagrin of the mourners, given the fact that Mbabazi had contributed Shillings 10 million.
