Party spokesperson and Nakawa East Elect Joel Ssenyonyi said they have declared Wednesday a day of prayers and fasting to seek God’s intervention for the country that is covered by human rights abuses, extra judicial killings, and bad governance.
The suspects who are being detained at Gulu Central Police Station include Robert Komakech alias KK, Robert Olal, Gerald Ongole, Morish Ogwal, Winnie Abang, Stella Akullu, Nancy Apio and Winny Prisca Ajok while other suspects still at large.
On Monday, the High Court Registrar Agnes Nkonge issued an interim order stopping Captain Godfrey Karamuzi, from opening up boundaries on disputed land occupying two villages of Kasese and Kyakago in Byakabanda Sub County. The land measures 254 hectares in Rakai district.
