Gen. Mugisha Muntu, the Presidential candidate for Alliance for National Transformation-ANT says that an alliance os not feasible at the moment because other parties have one agenda, to oust the incumbent president, yet they have no ability to form a government thereafter.
Largo trailed in the third position with 10,016 votes, behind former Pader District Chairperson Alfred Akena who garnered 11,678 votes. The victor, Rtd Col Obwoya secured the flag with 14,645 votes, according to results released by Pader NRM Registrar Simon Peter Sankara on Saturday.
Instead, he observes, members are fighting each other promoting insults and hatred, using pejorative or discriminatory language against others, and encouraging violence towards other contenders, a trend he says spells doom for Ugandan politics.
