Lukwagos suggestion comes after the death of a city hawker Oliver Basemera, 35, who drowned in Nakivubo Channel on Friday while fleeing from law enforcement officers, who were conducting operations against hawking in the central business district.
Nankabirwa challenged women in leadership positions to help their fellow women, be contented with having women in leadership roles and endeavor to deliver once entrusted with leadership.
The recommendation was made by the 9th Commonwealth Youth Ministers meeting that ended on Friday evening at Speke Resort Munyonyo. It was attended by delegations of youth ministers, young leaders, senior officials and stakeholders in youth development from 32 countries.
