Odinga polled 6,942,930 representing 48.85 per cent of the vote and lost the race to outgoing deputy president William Samoei Ruto who polled 7,176,141 votes representing 50.49 per cent of the vote, according to results released by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission-IEBC on Monday.
