Police Spokesperson, Fred Enanga, said Pato did not return on his own but was handed over to a special team of detectives from Uganda who transported him to Uganda on May 15, 2019, and took him into police custody, for further interrogation. He is currently detained at Special Investigation Division (SID) in Kireka.
In the suit, Kiconco demanded that court should declare that the land in question belongs to him and the occupants are on the land illegally and should be evicted.
