Bigirwa teamed up with other people power sympathizers to sound saucepans, plates and jerry cans as a means of expressing dissatisfaction over the government’s failure to distribute food to all starving Ugandans, after maintaining lockdown restrictions for more than three months.
Most of the cases were registered in the areas of Luweero, Wobulenzi and Bombo town councils, while a few others were registered from Kikyusa and Kamira sub counties among others. According to Luweero District Probation Officer Joyce Namigadde, most of the cases are a result of neglect, provocation and poverty.
Domestic development budget caters for among other things construction of police housing units, police stations, purchase of more fleet, renovations of police stations and refurbishing existing health amenities.
The four, who were quarantined together with 20 others, two weeks ago, took advantage of a heavy downpour and the subsequent power blackout between 7 and 10 pm on Saturday to escape.
