On June 17, 2024, Ayimbisibwe’s lifeless body was discovered wrapped in a sack and dumped in a coffee plantation in the same area. According to Julius Hakiza, the Albertine region police spokesperson, the body had bruises on the neck, indicating that the killers may have strangled him before dumping the body.
The suspects are Jackson Atuginga, Hillary Tumuhaise,Hassan Isingoma,Alfred Kyomi, Emerita Asaba and Sarah Nyamahunge, all members of the same family and residents of Byerima cell in Kiryanga ward, Nyangahya division of Masindi municipality.
According to information gathered by Uganda Radio Network (URN), their supervisor assigned the two guards to guard Kizirafumbi Secondary School in Kizirafumbi sub-county, Kikuube district.
The incident occurred at approximately 10:00 a.m. when Kevira was playing near a grasshopper collection point. She accidentally touched a live electrical wire and was electrocuted.
