The accident which occurred on Sunday involved a commuter taxi registration number, UAZ 861J from Jinja district which burst its tyres and knocked a motorcycle carrying two passengers who died instantly.
Benson Byaruhanga Mworozi, the Luweero District Police Commander, says two thugs ridding on motorcycles attacked two pump attendants at Dawson Pump Fuel Station around 2am on Sunday night and tied them with the help of security guard before accessing the safe.
