The suspects whose names have been concealed for fear of jeopardizing police investigations are accused of allegedly murdering Domian Byaruhanga, a resident of Kifumura village in Kyohairwe parish Buhanika sub county of Hoima district.
Julius Hakiza, the Albertine Region Police spokesperson, security officials in the region are bothered by the increasing murder cases. He attributes the murders to land wrangles, domestic violence witchcraft, property disputes and alcohol abuse among others.
The suspect is Innocent Okot attached to Saracen Security Company Limited Hoima branch. He disappeared with the company gun registration number SAR 12116651/06277, with five rounds of ammunition.
