Operatives from the State House Anti-corruption Unit in conjunction with police arrested Bwiiso on Thursday last week from his office in Masindi, alongside detective Sergeant Rehema Kunihira from Masindi central police station for allegedly soliciting and receiving a bribe of 3 million shillings in order to set a defilement suspect free.
The deceased's sister, Hadija Birungi, says that Nyakayo who was staying with her in Kijura cell in Masindi municipality disappeared on Tuesday. She says that they searched for her in vain prompting them to report the matter to Masindi police station.
