Appearing on Tuesday evening, Batariho asked court to allow her have a private talk with plaintiffs. While meeting them, Batariho pleaded guilty and asked for forgiveness.

According to local sources, including Gerald Byaruhanga, the LC1 Chairman of Kanyabiyengo village, and Dickson Kamuhanda, a resident of the area Byamukama was stabbed in the stomach after returning home from a nearby trading center where he had been socializing.
His arrest also follows several complaints of robbery against Tumusiime. He is accused of robbing 1.5 Million Shillings from Joseph Nuwagaba, a mobile phone, and a vehicle registration number UAT856J Premio belonging to Patrick Aharizira
The deceased's father, Naris Ndanganwa, says that his daughter was last seen by neighbors on Sunday morning in a sharp quarrel with her boyfriend Denis Arineitwe, a tailor in Kabale town and resident of Nyakahanga village, Kazindiro parish, Bugangari sub-county, Rukungiri district.
Her Worship Tabaruka remanded Ahumuza, Akankwasa, and Akanyijuka to Ndorwa government prison. She also remanded Tumukunde to Kabale remand home on the basis that he is still a juvenile (below 18 years) who needs rehabilitation. The suspects will re-appear before the court on February 7, this year.
