Mukisa sustained injuries on the head, bark, neck and chest and bled to death. The assailants hid his lifeless body in a bar within the area only to be discovered by concerned residents who saw bloodstains along the roadside.
A strong odour drew the attention of passersby to the body, which had deep wounds on the head and chest. Residents told URN that their attempts to identify the deceased did not yield results since he is not from their locality.

A detective, who spoke on condition of anonymity, so as to speak freely on the matter told URN that Ajalu was picked up on a tipoff from community members who alerted police on his plan to sell off his child for unspecified reasons.
The angry residents had attempted to lynch him on allegations that he had made it a habit to routinely batter his wife and children on a daily basis.However, police officers dispersed the crowd and arrested him.
The victims who are residents of Bugodo village in Kapyanga Sub County in Bugiri district are reported to have come into contact with power transmission lines from loose electricity poles which had fallen in their garden.

Jeff Sebuyungo, the Bugiri District Police Commander, who declined to identify the suspects, says that, they were arrested on Saturday and are being detained at Bugiri central police station. He says that the suspects recorded statements and the information shall be useful for the progress of this case in the investigations.
