Livingstone Kalungi, a resident of Bukomba village in Luwero district says he bought a piece of land measuring 27 yards from Ssenyonjo Muwanguzi who is now deceased. The land in question is located in Lukenku village in Kikamulo sub-county in Nakaseke district. On August 23, 2021, Major Jimmy Katende, an administrative officer in the Office of the President wrote to Nakaseke District Police Commander informing him that he had received a complaint from another person, Anatoli Buzoya, claiming to have bought the contested land in 1972.
Mwesigye is a former contestant for the Kito sub-county chairman's seat. His body was found on Monday dumped at mango farm belonging to outgoing Nakaseke Central Member of Parliament Syda Bbumba located at Mabbale village in Kiwoko town council.

Sebastian Mpagi, the Kiziba village LC 1 Chairman, says that Namagembe has since asked for a letter recommending them to settle in another village because of the tension following last week’s attack. According to Mpagi, Lukwago was hit by a falling door as he was trying to flee the fire and fell on the ground where he burnt to death. He says one of the girls survived the fire by feeling through a door that was destroyed by the thugs.

Nakaseke South Member of Parliament Ssemakula Luttamaguzi said the killings of People Power supporters is aimed at forcing them to abandon the demand for change in leadership. Luttamaguzi says that there is increasing intolerance against opposition supporters whom he cautioned to brace themselves for the worst in the run up to the 2021 elections.
Another affected resident Martin Kamugisha told the commission that he became homeless after losing 64 acres of his land to Tibelonda. He says that his resistance against the evicted was thwarted when he was charged with Criminal Trespass, convicted and jailed until he paid a sum of 4.2 million Shillings as a fine to regain his freedom.
