Lubega told URN that her main focus in parliament was the well being of women across the country. Asked for her advice to Ugandans, Lubega asked them to emulate the principles on which the country was founded such as being God fearing and hard working.
Speaking to Journalists ahead of the annual Agricultural trade show on Monday morning, Ssempijja said that the government is engaged in activities that would enable youths to engage in commercial agriculture both at a small and large scale.
80 percent of the farmers in Uganda are engaged in both subsistence and commercial agriculture. However, the sector only contributes to 46 percent of export earnings mainly because very few of the farmers know where and how to market their produce.
