Dr. Byamugisha told URN in an exclusive interview that prior to the renovation of the hospital, the delivery of health services had become difficult and expensive to manage.
All this has improved, despite the insatiable demands at the Hospital. Following months of renovation work, Dr. Josaphat K. Byamugisha, the Director of the newly transformed Makerere Health Services says he breathes with a sigh of relief.
Dr Jackson Ojera, the Director of the Health Monitoring Unit says that they are carrying thorough investigations by re-interrogating the suspects, support staff and other health workers within the hospital.
Johnson Mubiru, a pastoralist in Kakabala village says that he has seen few flies in the swamp but didnt think they can cause harm. He has also welcomed the campaign to equip them with knowledge to protect their animals.
The Hospital staff were nabbed on Friday evening on the orders of the parliamentary committee on Health Headed by DR Micheal Bukenya during an Impromptu visit at the Health facility to Monitor health service delivery.
