Wanyama explains that he handed the two suspects he had gone to pick and the five rowdy Boda boda motorists to Captain Agaba at Kisekka market military barracks. He told the General Court Martial chaired by Lt. Gen. Andrew Gutti after handing over the suspects he didnt know what transpired later.
Muyanja argued that the witness was supposed to defend his testimony given that he is the one testifying against the accused persons. The lawyer had asked Kasaija to explain the events that unfolded when he arrested the accused persons on January 19th, 20th and 21st 2018.
Maj. Raphael Mugisha, the State Prosecutor, told court presided by Lt Gen Andrew Gutti that the witness whose details couldnt be disclosed for protection purposes was unable to be in court on time.
In his judgment, Gen. Gutti concurred with the prosecution, saying Ochieng should have served as an example to his juniors but decided to act to the contrary.
