On Friday, January 31, 2025, Justice Philip Willebrord Mwaka dismissed an appeal by Thomas Okello, who sought to challenge the previous judgment by His Worship Phillips Oji, the former Patongo Grade One Magistrate delivered on April 23, 2021, which recognized the widows as the rightful occupants of the land.
