Speaking during the opening of the renovated official residence of the Buddu County Chief at Ssaza grounds in Masaka City on Tuesday, Mayiga made specific reference to the messy homesteads, garbage-clogged trading centres, and filthy business premises in Masaka, arguing that such ugly scenes are underserving of civilized societies.
Richard Sseggwanyi, the Kooki Council Speaker vented his anger against the Buganda Kingdom Prime Minister Charles Peter Mayiga, for naming their hereditary cultural leader; the Kamuswaga Apollo Ssansa Kambumbuli II among the ordinary county chiefs of Buganda.
Addressing the Buganda Lukiiko this afternoon at Bulange-Mengo, Mayiga said that the tax should completely be removed since Mobile Money is mostly used by the poor adding that taxing them for the service is irrational.
