According to Nawangwe, the Government gives the university 225 billion shillings, while 91 billion shillings is collected from privately sponsored students, which is inadequate.
However Anna Adeke Ebaju, the National female youth MP questioned the basis for the increment. She explained that Uganda cannot benchmark with Kenya when it comes to the economy, because they are quite different.
