A police officer from Kira-Road Police Division who participated in the operation, says that the suspects were partying and drinking while playing loud music in violation of the government restrictions on social gathering as part of the COVID-19 containment measures.
Upon reporting the matter to Kira Road Police, both the children and parents recorded statements and were reportedly asked to contribute Shillings 30,000 for the medical examination.
