The classified budget of the Ministry of Defense and Veterans Affairs has hit 1.9 trillion shillings for next financial year from 800 billion last year.
State Minister for Veteran Affairs Bright Rwamirama says that the UPDF Act, in its current form does not cater for the retirement and compensation benefits of former fighters.
