Fatinah Nakyisuyi, one of the eyewitnesses says that the truck driver lost control and parked abruptly forcing Musenero to ram into his vehicle. “The vehicle was being driven at breakneck speed. While running over the humps, the driver parked the truck abruptly, Musenero who was riding from the opposite direction rammed into it and died instantly,” she said.
Richard Kajura, one of the residents says that the deceased had instructed him to load two cows on a waiting pickup which would transport them to the police station as exhibits, when he received a phone call alerting him that he was being robbed.
Grace Mbali, the Dongi Village LC I chairperson says the deceased has been a casual worker at the pond where she drowned with her children. Mbali says eyewitnesses confided in him that the deceased lied to the caretaker of the pond caretaker that she had forgotten her phone around the area.
Christine Babirye, a teacher at the school says the heavy rain forced pupils and teachers to lock themselves in the main hall. “We experienced heavy rainfall with accompanied with a huge storm, which blew off the roof of the classroom. We decided to converge in the main hall where tragedy befell us,” she said.
Zaina Nakirya, a resident of the area says ghosts have been forcefully engaging her in sexual intercourse for the past two years. She says this has caused her psychological torture and also led to a breakdown of her marriage eight months ago.
The three; Samuel Kironde, Godfrey Ssemugga and Dan Kafeero, appeared before the Jinja Grade One Magistrates Court, alongside a businessman, Hakim Ssenyunja with whom they allegedly connived to leak 2018 Primary Leaving Examinations.
