Roko was contracted to construct the 11 billion Shillings two-floor expansion building in April 2018 and was expected to hand over the complete project in 2019. But, to date, construction is still ongoing, yet there is no clear explanation for the delays.
Benon Matwire, the Secretary Uganda Government and Allied Workers Union, says Muhakanizi has a negative attitude towards Salary Increment and that is why he is saying they have other funding requirements like elections.
“If the people of Palorinya Sub County wish to belong to another district, there is a process to be followed to change the boundaries of a district. Before this process is completed, Palorinya Sub County will continue to be under and getting services from Obongi district local government…,” reads the letter.
