Police say that Kica was arrested by the soldiers for allegedly assaulting one soldier following a scuffle during a night disco at Arogo Village, Kal Parish in Madi Opei Town Council.
The suspects are accused of lynching Martin Nokrach for the alleged theft of a solar panel belonging to Walter Mwaka. Secondo Komakech, an eyewitness told police that the suspects arrested Nokrach and took him to Lagwe –dola village where they assaulted him to death.
Justice Stephen Mubiru said he was convinced beyond reasonable doubt that Omuria committed the offence. Justice Mubiru said that he based on the testimony of the victim’s son who told the court that after they were chased from the house, he peeped through the makeshift door and saw Omuria raping her mother.
