Prosecution led by Jeanne Nareeba told the Entebbe Chief Nagistrate, Mary Babirye that on
December 15th 2018 while at the arrivals lounge of Entebbe International airport Aviation Police arrested Moradi when they found him in possession of 596.84 grams of Morphine contrary to section 5 of the Narcotic Drugs and Physcotropic substance control Act.
Prosecution told court that on September 18th, 2019 while at Mabito in Nateete in Rubaga Division, the accused persons including 70 women and 65 men were found with smashed and rolled sticks of marijuana ranging from 18 to 40 without lawful excuse.
According to Hakiza, the suspects didn’t have any document authorizing them to enter Uganda when they were picked up. He says during the arrest, security impounded four fishing boats, one boat Engine and immature fish belonging to the suspects.
