More than 200 boda boda riders stormed the office of Hoima Resident District Commissioner on Wednesday demanding an explanation why Kahimba had been released, yet he was implicated in the rampant motorcycle robberies. They accused police of siding with the robbers who continue to kill them.
Herbert Muhangi, the Kiboga District Police Commander says that the suspects were picked up in an operation conduct over the weekend that was prompted by the theft of a Bajaj motorcycle number UDX158U in Kiboga town.
Two female suspects have been arrested in Hoima for allegedly masterminding motorcycle robberies in the district. The two were arrested from different spots in Kampala and Hoima.
