“The report from the doctors at the Bugolobi clinic is alarming. The claim that Besigye is simply weak from not eating is misleading. The doctor’s assessment this morning is more concerning, requiring treatment in a better-equipped facility,” Lukwago said.
The suspects include D/ASP Ali Katende, David Kihara Muthoni (28), Samuel Njeru (36), both Kenyan nationals, and Juma Musisi (28). They are accused of stealing 21,600kgs of coffee beans valued at 383 million Uganda Shillings.
The court heard that on July 28th, at Lubaga Cathedral Church in Rubaga Division, Kampala District, Namara caused a disturbance during a religious ceremony. Namara pleaded not guilty and was granted bail, set at 500,000 Shillings.

Prosecution told court that while at Namwasi village along Mbale Nabumali Road in Mbale District on May 16th, 2019, the accused person with malice aforethought unlawfully caused the death of Detective Sergeant, Fred Chemonges.
In his testimony, Muto told court that on the fateful day he closed the hardware around 7:30pm to balance his books of accounts. He said two armed men speaking Swahili stormed the hardware shouting "Leta Pesa", which literally means bring money.
Prosecution told court that on September 18th, 2019 while at Mabito in Nateete in Rubaga Division, the accused persons including 70 women and 65 men were found with smashed and rolled sticks of marijuana ranging from 18 to 40 without lawful excuse.
The four were picked up together with their lawyer, James Mubiru shortly after being discharged by the Registrar of the International Crimes Division of High Court; Esther Nasambu following their bail release by Justice, Lydia Mugambe. Both uniformed and plain clothed security officers locked at the main gate of the court to block the suspects from leaving.
