The Appointments Committee of Parliament sitting on Monday vetted First Lady Janet Museveni and Minister of Education and the 1st Deputy Prime Minister Rebecca Kadaga virtually via zoom.
In her opening remarks to plenary, Kadaga actually acknowledged meeting the President but didn’t divulge what they had discussed. She instead complained about the traffic congestion on Entebbe road, saying there is need to establish bus services.
The Minister of Education and Sports, Janet Museveni indicated that SDF comes at a time when government cannot compromise on skills development and would seek to operationalize the fund faster now that pilot has proved successful.
