Foreign Nationals’ Hotel Bookings Rise to 28% in Uganda attract tourists 1 1

Bradford Ochieng, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer Uganda Tourism Board revealed in an interview with Uganda Radio Network recently that the bookings in the Country which dropped from 76% in 2019 to 2% during the lockdown have now recovered to a promising 28% between October 2020 and April this year.

Over 1,000 Acres of Crop Gardens Destroyed by Stray Elephants in Nwoya Purongo Sub County 1 3

Felix Onencan, a farmer in Agung village says he has suffered unimaginable loss after the elephants destroyed his crops and shuttered his investment. He told URN that he procured a bank loan and hired 300 acres of land on which he planted soybean which has all been ruined.
