The IEA in a report released in France on Thursday says the debate about the Energy transition due to climate change concerns as well as the soaring energy prices have seen a comeback of nuclear in countries where it was being abandoned due to costs and safety concerns.
Dr. Nathan Onyachi, the Medical Director Masaka Hospital, says the council reopened the closed facility after their biomedical engineer fixed the radiation leakage, which led to its closure. He says a team of officials from Uganda Atomic Energy Council inspected the facility and cleared it to reopen.
