The president also allowed for the reopening of schools for candidate classes; P7, S4, S6 and finalists in tertiary institutions and universities. He said however, there will not be end-of-term one exams. “The rest of the learners should be patient. it’s better to be alive,” Museveni said.
Addressing the country from State House Nakasero, Museveni said that the country still has a threat of the coronavirus disease COVID-19, especially before the Ministry of Health tracks down all the 18,000 people who returned to Uganda shortly before March 22.
Makobi told URN that many people are taking COVID guidelines for granted, saying this exposes the community to infection since Kamwokya is densely populated.
