Ntege is wanted for obstructing police from arresting Engineer, Robert Kakiiza who was wanted in connection to the infamous LC bicycle scam. In her submission to court this morning, Cingtho explained that they served the RCC four criminal summonses to appear and plead to the charges of obstructing Police Detectives from arresting Engineer Kakiiza but she didn’t show up.
On Wednesday, the police surgeon Dr. Santos Ojara told High Court presided over by Justice, Moses Kazibwe that he examined Bagyenda on January 21st 2017 and found him to be in a sound mental state and had no injuries on his body.
Court also heard from Twijukye's sister, Evas Turigye and her husband, David Obuk that Bagyenda confessed to them about the murder.
The two told court that when they went to Kira Road Police Station to record statements, they asked if they could speak to Bagyenda and were allowed.
