Prime Minister, Robinah Nabbanja has told parliament that the Ministry of Health is preparing a Cabinet memorandum seeking guidance from the Executive on sourcing funds to bridge the gap occasioned by withdraw of United States Agency for International Development (USAID) funding.

He says that malaria cases in Akoboi Parish in Atiira Sub County almost became a pandemic last month that stretched health systems in the district.
The equipment valued at more than 350 million shillings is aimed at improving the operations of laboratory units of the health centres by ensuring standby power.
