During a meeting on Tuesday in Kampala to review the distribution strategy of family planning services, officials revealed that some facilities receive supplies when they have a short time to expire whereas others receive incomplete sets of commodities for instance implants without insertion and removal kits.
Anna Grace Auma, the project coordinator and a lecturer at Lira University explains that pre-service training will not only help in equipping doctors and midwives but also cut the cost of in-service training which has been high and time consuming.
