Susan Abeja, the Otuke District Woman MP believes that the girls should be given a chance to continue studying even after giving birth. She says as leaders, they will make sure that the girls receive the necessary support they require at school.
The index by Natural Resources Governance Institute (NRGI) rated Uganda's Mining Sector as slightly better governed than oil though still in "weak" category.

Some of their functions include disciplining teachers and ensuring the headteachers are present at schools.
