In his affidavit, Mugisha wanted Zaake's case dismissed on grounds that it has no merit. He claimed that when Zaake was arrested for flouting COVID 19 guidelines, he was never taken to any military detention save for the Police Special Investigations Unit.

On Thursday, Justice Esta Nambayo directed the Attorney General to produce Denis Okello and Charles Ongom Labeja who have been in detention since March 12th 2020. She has directed that they bring them before her court on April, 29th 2020.
Through their lawyers of AF Mpanga and Company Advocates, the two legislators contend that parliament breached its rules of Procedure when it smuggled the issues of the said money into the Budget committee report without the consent of members.

Further, Musota told court that when he was on his way to court , he received a call from an official from ISO who said that their Preliminary investigations show that Rutabana is not in their custody as well.
The order followed an application filed by Rutabana's lawyers led by Dr David Mushabe who argued that Rutabana who is a French citizen of Rwandan descent has been in illegal detention since he was arrest in Kampala on September 8th, 2019.
