When the matter came up for hearing on Monday, the Justices led by Kiryabwire noted that despite the fact Mukesh's petition was dismissed by the High Court in October 2021 he submitted the record of appeal last week that was not even signed.
According to the evidence before Court that URN has seen, Mukesh through his lawyers, Ssemwanga, Muwazi and Company Advocates and Bwango Araali and Company Advocates filed the amended petition on May 10th 2021 without court permission to do so despite elapse of the time for filing such an application in March, which is thirty days after gazetting the winners.
Ssenyonyi’s lawyers from Pace Advocates led by George Musisi, argue that the amended petition filed by Shukla Mukesh Babubhai on May 10 2021, which they received on Monday evening introduces fresh allegations and came in the court out of time.
I regret to announce the murder of my security team member Francis Senteza Kalibala aka Frank. He was deliberately ran over by military-police truck No. H4DF 2382 which blocked us in Busega on our way to Rubaga to get Kasirye Ashraf emergency medical attention -Kyagulanyi's tweet.
According to Ssenyonyi, when they wrote to police, the only response they got was through media reports the next day by the Police Spokesperson, Fred Enanga, saying they hadn’t followed the laid down guidelines.
