Bazzanya, who identifies himself as a builder and businessman, contends that Ssebamala was not validly elected. He argues that the MP-elect through his agents with his full knowledge and consent committed several illegalities and electoral offences during campaigns contrary to the laws governing Parliamentary Election.
Moses Ssenkindu, a resident of Bugere parish in Kyannamukaaka Sub County in Masaka district accuses Ssebamala of being dishonest about his voting particulars by claiming to be a voter at Luvunja Polling Station in Bukoto Central constituency, where his name doesn’t appear on the register.
A team of police officers led by Johnstone Tumuhamye, the Officer in Charge of Kyannamukaaka Police Station blocked the organizers from launching it. The stormed the play grounds and ordered football players, fans and organizers to vacate immediately, saying they hadn’t been granted permission to carry out such an activity.
