Apart from case management issues, the inductees are also being oriented about Judicial independence and accountability, the Bar-Bench relationship, management of retirement, collegiality at work, the operations of the East African Court of Justice, the use of electronic and digital evidence , judgment writing techniques, stress management, ethics and integrity, protocol and etiquette.
In his Oct 5, 2021 circular, the Chief Justice directs Registrars and Magistrates to ensure the authenticity of the court judgements, orders and decrees before they process them for execution in accordance with the relevant laws and practices
The new panel comprises Justices Geoffrey Kiryabwire, Irene Mulyagonja and Elizabeth Musoke. It was constituted by the Acting Chief justice Alfonse Owiny–Dollo after the legal teams of both parties declined to receive a judgment by Justice Cheborion in May 2019.
