WHO reports in its latest statement that fifteen countries are yet to introduce measles second dose in their national immunization schedules, which they say leaves children and adolescents in those countries to measles outbreaks.

The recommendation for the 14-day quarantine was based on estimates of the upper bounds of the COVID-19 incubation period.
The new six symptoms to added to the list include chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell, in addition to previously known symptoms of fever, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing which both CDC and the World Health Organization have been previously urging people to look out for.
