Now officials from the ministries of Environment, Energy, Disaster Preparedness and Works have travelled to the district for an on-spot visit which will form the basis of the action report. The teams are visiting Mubuku, Nyamwamba, Nyamugasani and Lhubiriha valley’s.
This is part of an emergency supplementary fund set aside for the district whose entire infrastructure was ruined last month, when rivers burst their banks, washing away bridges, buildings and schools and displacing families.
